Beaches
North Bay Beach (W) - Phoenix Court overlooks the north bay and is only a short walk from the beach. You'll see surfers out in the sea at all times of year. When the tides out it's a wide expanse of sandy beach and an excellent place for rock pooling. The beach is highly recommended by the Marine Conservation Society.
South Bay Beach (W) - a sandy family beach, home of donkey rides, sand castle competitions, Beached music festival and many other things.
Cayton Bay - just south of Scarborough off the Filey road, this beach is home to more surfers but also bird watchers and fossil hunters.
