Music and Theatre
Stephen Joseph Theatre (W) - the local theatre, which has premiered most of Alan Ayckbourn's 72 plays. The theatre has 2 auditoria, one in the round, one end stage and a restaurant and bars.
Scarborough Spa (W) - based on the South Bay, the spa hosts concerts, shows and conferences. It is also home for the Scarborough Spa Orchestra, which was created in 1912 and is fast approaching its centenary year.
Futurist Theatre (W) - situated on the South Bay foreshore, the Futurist theatre is host to major stars for one-off concerts to full staged weekly musicals, children's shows, ballet, films, and traditional summer shows
Sigma at The Cask Inn (W) is the home of Scarborough Jazz Club and Scarborough Blues Club.
Scarborough Jazz Festival has been running for 5 years and is receiving increasing national recognition. The 2009 festival will be held on 18 - 20 September.
